Apparently, Kenya is the only country on the African continent that operates the Bell AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter.This is quite an achievement considering that these helicopters have been around since the late 1970s.However,it is not the best attack helicopter on the African continent.
Nigeria🇳🇬 is going to buy (or has already bought) the American 🇺🇲 Bell AH-1Z attack helicopter which is largely the same as the AH-64 Apache.
Egypt has Kamov Ka-52 Alligator from Russia🇷🇺,which is widely considered the best attack helicopter in the world in terms of combat experience.
South Africa🇿🇦 makes its own attack helicopter which is the Denel AH-2 Rooivalk.They also have improved Mil Mi-24 Super Hind.
Uganda 🇺🇬 has the Mil Mi-28 Night Hunter which is also among the top 5 best in the world.
