Mike Tyson reveals why he slapped ‘f***ing a**hole’ Jake Paul during weigh-in
It’s officially fight night, as Mike Tyson (50-6-2) and Jake Paul (10-1) will step into the squared circle for an eight-round heavyweight fight on Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
“I was in my socks, and he had on shoes,” Tyson told the New York Post. “He stepped on my toe because he is a f***ing a**hole. I wanted to think it happened by accident. But now I think it may have happened on purpose. I was in a lot of pain. I had to reciprocate.”

Paul, 27, is known for his trash talking in hyping up his fights. Tyson’s patience with Paul’s mouth had worn thin, and the toe step was the final straw.
“Jake has been poking the bear the whole time,” a Tyson representative told The Post. “Mike slapped the s*** out of him.”
That slap has made things personal for Paul, who addressed the crowd and stated that Tyson “must die.”
From Tyson’s perspective, nothing else needs to be said.
“Talking’s over,” Tyson said.
“The Problem Child” will step into the ring with “The Baddest Man on the Planet” sometime after 11 p.m. ET. The main card, which includes Tyson vs. Paul, begins at 8 p.m. on Netflix.
