Voters are deciding who to elect to top offices across the country and in Jackson County.

JACKSON COUNTY, MI – Jackson County residents are currently casting their votes in the Tuesday, Nov. 5 general election, deciding who will be the next U.S. President, as well as winners in state and local races.

Operating millages are on the ballot for the Jackson County Jail, Jackson District Library and Jackson College. Voters will also decide between contested races for township, city council and school board seats, as well as who should represent Michigan in Congress and the U.S. House and Senate.

The polls close at 8 p.m. We’ll have live results for contested races here.
